Here is one of the quick supper snacks that is great to share with friends; just serve it with homemade bread.

Also, there is little washing up to do after. I am using Mont d'or in a wooden box but you can also use camembert or brie in a wooden box.

Ingredients

  • 1 Mont d'or
  • 8 fresh sprigs of rosemary
  • A drop of white wine
  • Homemade  bread or a french baguette for serving

Method

  1. Preparation takes 2 minutes. Pre-heat the oven gas mark 6, 200°C or 400°F
  2. Take the Mont d'or and remove any plastic covering.
  3. Take the lid off and cut 8 slits with a knife into the cheese and poke in the rosemary sprigs
  4. Drizzle over the white wine.
  5. Replace the lid and place on a baking tray and pop in the oven on the centre shelf.
  6. Leave for approximately 25 minutes or until the cheese is soft and gooey.
  7. Serve with the torn bread on a big sharing plate.
