Brighten Your Home This Autumn

Autumn home finds to lift your decor

Brighten your home this autumn by giving it a quick facelift with these simple ideas, and add an extra dimension of colour and texture without blowing the budget.

  1. Laying is key, so to brighten up a living room this autumn add this luxuriously sumptuous  throw made from soft lambswool, with a stylish spot design and detailed fringe.

  2. Inject an extra splash of colour by adding a few bright citrus yellow cushions.
  3. When it comes to window dressing you can give a room a quick uplift just by adding some  new curtains. I find interlined curtains are ideal for the autumn and winter months to keep the warmth in and the cold out. This meadow check material in putty with fine yellow detailing is perfect for that luxury feel.
  4. Light up a dark corner with this unique decorative green parrot lamp from Abigail Ahern for Edition at Debenhams.  This cult lamp design of a green parrot shaped base and a black velvet lamp shade, is a great room feature.
  5. The quickest and most inexpensive way to give your room an instant uplift is to simply add fresh flowers or a plant. This yellow rose bouquet is just the perfect addition.
  6. Candles are just the ticket to bring a little romantic and inviting aroma to a room. Step in from the cold to a spicy warm aroma from a blend of sweet cinnamon and clove with a dash of fresh orange with this botanical candle from The White Company.
  7. If space is limited then this simple wooden stool can be used as an extra seat to perch on, or double up as a small table.
  8. For an instant lift add this stylish Melua Armchair to your room; it will fit into most spaces and  is a very reasonable price.

Then just sit back, relax and enjoy.
