At NS we just love to stick ‘the boot in’ as we are made aware that ankle boots are a key look this season and are not just for those cold winter months.

It now appears to be cool and hip to wear your ankle boots in spring and summer, so splash out and update your wardrobe to ensure you keep your feet fashionable.

With these latest styles from suede to canvas you are sure to toughen up your spring and summer outfits.

The old knee-high boot is still a great winter staple, but the ankle boot is everywhere this season and is much more versatile, and if you choose a lighter design the boot will take you all the way through spring and even into those summer months. Yes, who would have thought it!

If you must choose black then suede may be the answer as it is not as heavy to pair off with light summer styles. These Jimmy Choo suede boots may be pushing the boat out a little, but if you are planning to wear throughout the summer you do need a bit of sophisticated.  I would also consider a pair of tan suede ankle boots to wear with a pair of summer trousers.

Do not be scared to choose a bold shape or add embellishments through buckles, zips, or trendy fringing.  If you choose wisely you can have the perfect partner for this seasons spring and summer attire. Plus a kitten heel is an ideal match for an above the knee dainty dress.

For any true fashionista a pair of metallic lace-up boots is a must. Though if you are looking for a more versatile boot you can not go far wrong with a pair of Chelsea boots in a soft suede or animal print, plus coloured soles are high fashion and do add a bit of  a fun element to an outfit.

Go with a light weight boot rather than a heavy boot for summer, and if you are looking for something a little more edgy consider a peeptoe boot or even a cutout heel, though I'd recommend you have a summer pedicure before exposing your feet.  For a little more moden look choose a gentle cut away at the ankle

So this spring and summer don't be afraid to push the style boundaries and make a statement ...
